Thanks for a fantastic response to the competition. The results have been tallied and listed below are the votes each pattern received.
There were so many votes I have decided to tie all patterns that got over 30 votes (a total of 17). I have also added the Caddis Elk Hair Rubber Legs (Dry) and Damsel BC (Nymph) as they got a thumbs up from a few guides.
Congratulations to Paul Lascelles who was close to ‘bang on’. Joan Vyle and Michael Hartstonge both came very close.
I have had a number of new patterns sent to me lately: Little Rascal, Rubber Black Beauty, Hare and Red Copper, plus a few others that I have had tied and added to the site. Some have been selling very well and I have had to re-order quickly. If you have a fly that doesn’t resemble something in the FOL stock send me a photo and I will get some tied if I can.
In August FOL is going to have a Fly Tying Competition. This will involve sending in a step by step photo tying guide of a pattern of your choice. I will have some info on the site about this closer to August.
